I purchased some greek coins, all fairly toasted by the ages, and I would appreciate some help with attribution.
Here is the first
It is 2.51g and 12mm max dia.
Obv has a head right which appears (to me at least) to be bearded.
Rev has an animal right.
The 2x2 it came in says
Kopf (head) / Widder (ram)
Ionien
Miletos
vor 240
v.chr?

"vor 240 v Chr." is German for "before 240 BC". Ionien = Ionia (region), Miletos = Miletus (city of issue).

In my quick search I'm not really finding any confirmation that Miletus issued such coins.

Ah.... makes sense now.
I agree the Miletus ref is odd. If I replace Miletus with Klazomenai , I get a lot more "promising" returns. But nothing I could hang my hat on. In the absence of anything more concrete, I'll add them to my unknown Greek stuff.
Thanks for the effort, Sap.
