Looks like a large date and slightly misaligned die.

Aye, that's a large date. Minor die misalignment present.

I agree with the others; large date and I can't see any alignment problems.
It IS a pretty nice coin for being 50+ years old. I wish I still looked as well when I was that age.

Large. To be small, the liberty would be more faint especially the last four letters, the end of the nine is pointed east not southeast and appears slightly more oblong and the "o" would not be high to the seven and more level with the height of all the other numbers in the date. It is difficult to find these in any grade in circulation.

May just be lighting angles and shadows playing tricks with eyes, but, running north to south it seems to be Off Center to me. Not much and not effecting the devices, but it don't take much to make it so.

Also around 9:00 the rim seems a bit weak on the Reverse and close to missing all together on the Obverse.

Might check the edge and diameter for anything out the ordinary. Thanks, Doug.

Faint but still visible. Several dies in 1969 and 1970 are known to have weak or missing initials due to die polishing. Thanks, Doug.
