Not well worn or beat up, I believe that it was a capped die error on obverse and reverse

The reverse lettering is not there and the obverse what is decipherable looks like bubble lettering. I will try and get better pics

We may be looking at a Dryer Coin. Some Dryer Coins do not immediately suffer from dramatic rim folding/reduction.

I agree on Dryer Coin, or something similar. May have been caught in some type of machinery, or even spent time in a tumbler. Metal detectorists sometimes tumble coins to clean them up before putting them back in circulation.

I have never tried to reproduce an error coin such as this , but
I suspect that it may? have been made by heavy hammering the coin flat between two pieces of thin metal.

Not a capped die. It would have what's called a "bottle cap" shape to it. There was a hit on the "T" in cent. The whole coin looks very, very worn. I don't see anything that even remotely indicates bubble lettering either. The "B" in Liberty looks like damage too. It could just be the photos but, not a mint error. Sorry. A coin like that would jump right out at an inspector on the line, even if it would make it that far.

The likely hood of a double sided die cap is a wee bit low of ever happening - like miniscule. This coin probably had a lot of help with the wear we see on it.

If wear is the most likely explanation for what we see here,
that can easily checked by accurate weight measurement.
