Looks like a die chip. Not an error.

I too see die chips. That said, it's not in bad shape for a circulated, 100 year old coin!

A die chip is not considered an error, it is part of the minting process.

The spot where the dot is supposed to be looks empty the other side after E is fine. With a magnifier it looks like the dot is under the s. Found it in a roll I bought a few years ago at closer views it stands out on a microscope even on a 3x magnifier. I can't find any others that look similar even on archived images, can't even find many recent ones

I think I see what you're referring to, but unless its glued on there I can't see the dot relocated that far without falling off. Thinking its a die chip under the S and the original dot location was Struck Through Grease or removed during circulation. Thanks, Doug.

Adding: Error-Ref Def.

Photo resolution looks good, however, some of the pics are skewed/distorted--doesn't change the assessment any, but can create some confusion when looking at other details.
