Combination of die crack, Struck Through Grease and circulation damage.

Great thread title ! I would be fearful if I had to grade stepmothers, cooking or otherwise.

Agreed - combination of Struck Through Grease and a small die crack. The remainder is circulation damage.

While these are technically errors, they are extremely common and carry no numismatic premium. Save the coin if you like it, but value is 1 cent.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

1983 P Lincoln Cent is one of my favorite coins! In my 4 years (still A Newbie) of searching rolls of Bank coins (Penny, Dime, Nickel & Quarters) I have found many 1983's with Die Cracks and Die Chips! Have fun and welcome to the hobby.
