I've highlighted some lines found on the Rev of the coin.
They appear to have been there before it was struck as they don't go through the design.
I had 3 of the same year and mint today and others do not have this marking.
Hope The pics are ok. I don't have a good set up for lighting, etc.

It almost looks like someone tried to guild this dime with gold leaf..
Other than that, I'm not too sure what happened here.

Show a picture without the highlights and shoot straight on, not on an angle.

Feeder Finger Damage won't come in from 2 different directions/angles.
After looking at the lines again, it could be radial flow lines from a die that is wearing out.

I'm seeing horizontal lines between the torch and leaves that all appear to be parallel, Dearborn. My tired old eyes aren't seeing lines coming from different directions/angles, where should I be looking to see them?

This is slight FFD. When it is stronger, more of the FFD is seen on these die damages:

No premium for these. Just an explanation of what happened to cause this damage to the die. Eventually when the die is polished, the fields will be removed with these lines as the die ages. Just another die event.

Cool find. I'd keep it, but that's just me. Might not be worth a significant down payment on a $5 million property, but it's a fun curiosity.

I was talking about the lines by the 'United' and 'America'. I didn't see the horizontal lines under the 'gold' highlights, until the OP removed them
