1983-Nickel-Reverse-Errors


There is an anomaly coming from both the left and right top of the monument, stronger on the left side.

There is what appears to me to be a small die crack on the lower left.

That my dear friends is a classic clashed die , so yes, a legitimate mint error there, and a more dramatic one at that. I have only found a few clashed dies on these 1980s nickels from my coin roll hunts. The two "prongs" sticking out of Jefferson's head are part of the clashed Monticello...
To me, that is actually worth a few bucks over 5 cents and a great find if you ask me
