1977d no f in initials p291 strike it rich with pocket change 5th edition book. circulated value 5.5-7, uncirculated 10-15. look at area between eagles left leg and tail features on reverse. look for partial g and no f of fg.

Know what to look for...match it up, then if you find a really good one, you can buy a collection of coins like Dearborn
The problem with those coins, is not the cause of missing the FG, it is how the graders will analyze. Me I see on this coin tresses of FG. Do the grader will considerate? I doubt. I see the tresses of the FG near the eagle leg. PCGS will say No FG.
With an 5x or 10x magnifier you can not see, so will be considerate No FG. As I say before me I see tresses but the graders do not go so close. Good Luck, always we need with them.
