This is a great looking coin - only $30.00 starting bid (no bids yet with 3 days left) who's going to just on this one?
Remember this IS a "Choice BU" Nickel...

Oh dear. Choice is more like it.

*** Edited by Staff - The bad word filter is in place for a reason. Bypassing the filter and making the intended word obvious anyway is completely unacceptable. ***

If you have to tell people it's "Choice BU", it's not.

The auction title has been changed from "Choice BU" to "fine", although the description is the same.

Good grief. This is why some ebay sellers troll for fools who part with their money.

I'm fairly certain that a lot of the time when you see these auctions where the condition or description is way off from the actual coin, it is because of how the listing is created. I'm pretty sure that you can either upload a photo and get suggested titles, or you can search for similar items, and it will also give you a template to create your own listing. So somebody who knows nothing about coins will just see that the coin they have matches the picture in the suggested listing (despite being a much lower grade) and figure, "yeah, that's what I have" while paying no attention to the grade. So they accept the template and now you have a listing where the title and/or description does not match what you actually see. I don't doubt that there are cases where it's intentional, but I suspect that more often than not, it isn't malicious.
