Hi,
I recently bought a large collection for an elderly gentlemen who scuba dived in one of the great lakes. Included was this 1834 large cent. It is of beautiful color so I have no intention of cleaning it, but it does have debris at certain points. I would appreciate an opinion:
Is this a N5? It is definitely a large 8. It appears medium letters.
Secondly, how is this graded? It is beautifully colored with nice detail, in the non-debris parts. Thanks

I believe N-5 is correct. Looks like XF details from corrosion.
