There is a reason for this site to suggest taking pictures of complete obv. and rev. here is why; We can not see if this is a D mint mark or if it is a copper or zinc cent. It is to your benefit because a small date, copper, D mint mark is worth about 10,000 dollars. Would you like to know that?

Not seeing any doubling on these pixelated screen shots (please don't post screen shots) A photo of a photo is not an ideal way to post images. Also partial coin images are inhibitive when it comes to helping you to find what you have.
Please post up a full coin image of both sides (sometimes we will see something you didn't)

Called a doubled die, as the die that strike these coins have hub doubling on them, making the coins struck with these dies, a doubled die coin. Device doubling is cause by the machine on Machine Doubling. So it is not from a doubled die. But a coin with the doubled die, will look the same as the die was retired early. (thus a smaller number of the were struck) What to look for on these? DDR-001 FS-101 WDDR-002

Note the spread on the devices. Look at the centers of the devices.

Note how they are wider/taller than the normal devices will be.

Machine Doubling never makes a coin a doubled die. Only coins struck with doubled die, will be doubled die coins. Machine Doubling can also affect doubled dies as well. But again, Machine Doubling never is part of a doubled die. The spread between the hub process, make a doubled die, doubled.

CoopHome: What does a 1982 WDDR-002 look like. What to look for on these? spread of the devices. don't look at the outside edges. that is where you will find Machine Doubling or excessive die wear. so always look for the spread of the devices. the notching is cause on these by the spread of the devices.

We cannot verify large date or small date when we cannot see the date at all. And I agree, please no more screen shots. They are too pixelated to be of use.
