DOCC Pillar of the Community United States 1502 Posts	Posted 04/08/2023 9:42 pm I am, it's soaking for next 36 hrs. I actually just checked on it. 22 popped out, totally legible now. Still not seeing any indication of an MM but would not surprise me as crud is fairly thick there. I'll update in the next few days either way. Report this Post to the Staff

2foxy Valued Member United States 150 Posts	Posted 04/09/2023 09:24 am I recommend try soaking it in 2 tablespoons of Bar Keepers Friend powder cleanser in 2 cups of warm water for 10-15 mins. It'll safely remove most of the caked on stuff without damaging the metal. Report this Post to the Staff
DOCC Pillar of the Community United States 1502 Posts	Posted 04/09/2023 10:37 am Foxy - never had much luck with Oxalic in the past. I personally think it is too strong of an acid for coins. Have you had success? Safest way I've found is soaking in mineral oil and then short ultrasonic sequences. Takes time and patience but seems to work best for me. Report this Post to the Staff
