Just want to post some things that might help the newer guys out, every little thing that I know I had questions on. So if I get carried away with posting,old hands, let me know and I will cut back on doing the posting. if you look at the step like affect to it you will see that the machine took a double bounce enough to make the empressions on top of the others that was already there. no added value, very common.

The key besides the flat shelf looks is also this. On a machine doubled coin the devices are the same size as normal, just pushed and distorted in shape. On a doubled die they are actually wider/taller depending on the hubbings.

Wow! Thanks for this coop and killians76! It must be frustrating to try to explain this several times a day, everyday but from a relative newbie, I really appreciate the time you put into this. I now understand the processes that produce the different types of doubling. Thank you!!
