@wallet, what fun pieces you turn up! That isn't Arabic, but rather Hebrew and this appears to be a Kabbalah token or amulet. There is a similar piece in the British Museum and this is their description:

Reverse: a 12-box square with names of the four Archangels and permutations of Jesus.
