I'm all-in on the OP's coin being replated.
That is indeed a die clash as John mentioned. (the area at the base of Lincoln's head and neck)

The OP's clash and the second coin with the clash are similar but not the same. The clash is positioned differently around the C

Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.

Just a Wheat cent now. The alteration of the surface pretty much voids out premium for these. The coins should not have a sheen to them:
1943-Steel-Cent-What-Is-This?
The altered surfaces are not a plus for these coins.
