I am still working on my being able to possibly grade or get close to a grade on some of my nicer coins. Any guesses and possible value? The edge pic was to show that it has almost no wear at all. Not the best pic though!

If you want this coin to get graded by the folks here, this topic needs to be in the grading area where it can be seen by more folks that like to grade coins.
I notified a Mod to have it moved over there.
However, you may need to post up much better images (oriented correctly and much larger if you can.)

Sorry, still working on my picture skills. I have to take a picture then I use a app to make it the right size so it is not that simple for my old brain.

800x800 or so is the size the board recommends

It is a nice quarter but I do not think will reach MS-67 to be worth to grad.

Hoping to see better pics. Given what's posted at the moment, the quarter may fall in the AU58-MS62 range. Not a good candidate for grade submission, in my opinion. Would be a decent album hole filler until better comes along.

try this to get better photos

1. if coin is in holder, remove coin from holder if possible

2. turn off flash

3. place coin on flat surface with indirect natural light. maybe a window sill in a cloudy day. Use a black or white background to avoid any reflective color

4. move phone about 3in from coin

5. zoom in using your fingers until the coin comes into focus and fills the cameras view finder. if your phone has a portrait selection use that and then press and hold on the coin in the view finder to AF lock it

6. hold phone steady. if you cant then place something on either side of the coin (like books) at that distance and lay phone between them. this will hold it steady and allow you to zoom and take the photo without any blurring

it doesn't make sense unless a coin is worth $150 or more. most seasoned collectors dont even slab their coins due to the cost. you could expect to spend about $22 plus shipping/insurance per coin each way plus a subscription to a grading service. PCGS charges a minimum of $69 for a subscription. so you can see it really is not worth grading any average coin.

if you have a question or concern about a coin, just post it here. we will let you know. the chance that you can find a coin in circulation that has that kind of value is pretty much zero
