So I came across this 1973 penny and I'm assuming it is a DDO but something in the lettering has me thinking it possibly could be. Especially the date and the word liberty. I know my camera isn't great but figured I'd run it my all you much more knowledgeable people to get some input. Also Lincoln's ear is looking little bigger than usual I am thinking but probably nothing lol. As I stated, I assume its nothing but I would rather hear it from people who know what they are talking about! Thanks everyone again in advance! All your quick responses are very much appreciated!

Here is a link on taking photos:http://goccf.com/t/422658
Did you check all three reference sites for an attribution number?
I am not seeing a DDO. The 3 took a hit and I see other circulation damage as well.

Not seeing anything out of the ordinary,
just regular circulation damage.

The strike is stronger on the 1973 cents. But note the sizes of the devices?
Date: Note th197 is smaller than the '3'? This die was polished removing some of the base of the reduced sizes of devices. The '3' is the normal size. Why do they polish the dies. When dies clash they leave marks from the opposite die on the fields. Thus the polishing removes these clash lines:

Die clashes have no premium for these. So they are just die events. The polishing makes the other devices weaker by removing the base of the devices. The die will continue to show this die polishing event until the next time it happens again and then the devices will be even smaller. Not a doubled die. On the DDO, the devices will larger than normal

The devices will be enlarged because of the dies creation with a spread between the hub process, making the devices larger with the spread visible. Hope this helps.

The 3 in the date looks thicker because it took a hit and was smashed a little bit. I'm just seeing a lot of circulation hits, but no DDO.
