It is my personal opinion that there are no legitimate coins outside the mint that have Rockwell Harness Test marks. The marks on your nickel are post mint damage. The indent would look like it was made with a medium point Bic ball point. Source - 25 years working as a industrial lab tech. Report this Post to the Staff
