I bought a small collection of coins and this was among them. I'm interested in selling a lot of them because I need the money and I bought the collection because I got a great deal and saw a lot of potential. Any input would be appreciated. Not sure if it would be graded VF or EF. I already have it on a 24hr auction but there haven't been any hits. Thanks in advance.

Looks mid-VF and possibly cleaned.

I agree that its VF 30 or so. As for getting hits, do you have a high starting bid on it?

There are over 1,800 1853 cents on ebay right now. Seems like you'll need more than a 24 hour listing.

24 hour auction is not long enough.

Hopefully your good deal was actually worth it and you can make it worth your time and money.

I think the "24 hr auction" means that the coin sells 24 hours after the last bid, on sites you'll find on popular social media

I had a $60 starting bid on it. I have deleted the post as it was up for 6-7 hours longer than it wad supposed to be and the only bid I received was for $15, 3-4 hours after the end of the auction and it seemed to have been made in jest. It didn't occur to me that it looks cleaned. First time seeing one. Thanks for the input guys. Much appreciate.

This Coin is not worth $60, let alone starting it at that bid.

That's about a $20 coin.

I'm closer to $12-14, less if cleaned as it appears.

There is no way a knowledgable buyer will pay you $60 for this coin. Perhaps you should reevaluate your potential for the 'great deal' lot you purchased.
