I was traveling through Virginia last weekend and picked up a couple boxes of Lincolns from a dealer. Never been to his shop before but probably should try and stop when in the area as he left rather a lot of semi-key dates and suchlike in the mix and his prices were more than fair. Found a few things and this is one of them. 1912-S/S Lincoln Wheat cent - RPM-001

Nice RPM @bats. Appears to have experienced a prior cleaning - not unusual for a coin of this era.

Thanks folks! First, no that isn't a Cud on the reverse, just a minor bit of lamination peeling. Does not help the coin at all but it's there. As for Fairfax, VA, I lived off and on for 12 years in Falls Church so know the area well. But this trip was down to Roanoke so over in the mountains not the city. It's a great state, but still prefer to live in PA.

Beautiful!
I love looking through the coins at the Batsonian coin museum! Keep 'em coming!

Ah yes Falls Church, next exit off the Beltway....and Roanoke is real nice! My daughter attended VA Tech, so I've been through there quite often!

I love it! The Batsonian Coin Museum. But might have to nudge it somehow as one of my friends owns Bat Conservation and Management and just seems a bit confusing if I also started using BCM.
