I have 93 & 08 with heavy dbl. in date and LIBERTY. I'll post pics tonight.

 Awesome closeup pic.s! All my Eagles are slabbed, but I'll try to check my '93, maybe all of them. I've not heard of this in the 2008 ... you might have a true find here! Your pic.s are indicative of a dd ... unfortunately, I don't own one yet to compare. (soon!)

I checked and I have 3. They seem to get progressively more define as it goes around the coin counter clockwise. My 04 & 96 has dbling at the date, top of leading foot & landscape at feet. Maybe this is just common.

I could be wrong but that Dbl'g looks like machine Dbl'g to me, just my opinion, and as far as value, does not add or detract from the value...
