My husband got a dime yesterday that looks weird. It's a 2019 year and he wanted to try to see if it's a true error or not and if it's worth anything. Can anybody help me please?

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Possible heat damage, but pic too dark to evaluate. Please show both sides of the coin.

I'm thinking heat--possibly from a hobby-grade torch. Worth a full 10 cents.
