Four bills and a coin for good measure The numbers are just staggering But, I had to get them for the collection, if only as a reminder of OUR current economic state.

*sigh* Just paper. In the end, it's just paper.
By the way, I really like the design of this series, but I didn't know it was going to break all records.

I am not very versed on currency conversion. Just out of curiosity what would that 100 trillion dollars convert to in US funds? I have never seen such a high denomination note before.

I'll have to get the 100 trillion as well somehow. Unless, of course, they'll release even higher denominations.

It must not be up to date. The currency converter I used said 1 trillion Zimbabwe dollars= 26,730.80 US dollars or 1 US dollar = 37.4 million Zimbabwe dollars at https://www.oanda.com/convert. I think the decimal point must have moved to the left 4 more places.

Ha! The inflation rate in MugabeLand is increasing so rapidly that currency converters are continually outdated. The actual conversion is largely irrelevant since nobody actually wants to accept Zimbabwe dollars. You will be lucky if that ten trillion dollar note buys a loaf of bread in a week. I harbor a bit of personal resentment against Mugabe, the Ruiner of Rhodesia, because I had a girl in my high school class who was an exchange student from Zimbabwe. Her family operated a multi-thousand acre farm that employed hundreds of natives. Farms like hers helped make Zimbabwe the largest agricultural exporter in Africa- that one country kept many other Africans from starving to death. Unfortunately, her and her family were lucky if they escaped with their lives after Mugabe's thugs stole and destroyed many of the white-owned farms in addition to killing many owners who resisted. Now, Zimbabwe is nothing more than a worthless inflation and cholera ridden dirtpatch with many of their own citizens starving

Today's a new day. So now you can only get 1 egg for 100 Trillion Z dollars. Tomorrow it will be 200 trillion for 1 egg...

Wait, at a Polish site they say these notes were recalled Feb. 9th. Is it true?

Yes, some time in February they dropped 9 zeros from the currency for the second time in less than a year. 1 newest dollar = 1 billion of January's dollars and 1 of January's dollars = 1 billion of last January's dollars.

Thank you, jgfindring. So I guess that what they were also saying - that the highest denomination currently circulating is Z$500 - is also correct?

Don't know on that- even their government lists the inflation rate at over one million percent per year. As joked above, prices would frequently double overnight. Since they've had the new currency for a couple of weeks already, they are probably already back up in the tens of thousands.

Nice set of notes. My 100 trillion note finally arrived the other day to go along with my 100 billion, and 1 dollar note.
