Just some weirdo pennies I found in a small bag that I tossed into the closet some years ago.

1970 Reverse

1974 Obverse

1943 S, (943 & S) mostly 4 and S

Thoughts?

@sup, it is best practice to start a new thread for each coin so that we can give them the attention that they deserve. For these Three Cents, the middle one is most interesting to me. Can you please give us the weight? I suspect that it is a detached lamination and therefore would be underweight. Thx.

Oh ok, I posted all 3 at once cause I worried about spamming. The weight of the middle one is 3.1 grams.

Ok no problem at all--for your future threads, please keep them to one coin each. Thx.

As far as the '74 cent goes, that doesn't seem very low in weight, so maybe I'm wrong. Let's see what others think as they see this thread and respond.

43 is reprocessed so it is PMD.
70 looks like PMD
74 I am not sure being correct weight.Maybe try a 100% pure acetone soak?

The 74 looks like it might have been a clam shell that someone has removed. But I don't know why it would be a different color. Unless the impurities that caused the clam shell were that color.
