I posted this on coppercoins site but I thought I'd toss it out here as well. I have doubling all over the obverse and I'm wondering if it's just a deteriorated die or a doubled die. There is doubling on Lincoln's forehead and nose that I couldn't get a good shot of but it also shows on his lips, and throat.

I would say neither. It is Machine Doubling. I'm guessing that the reverse has doubling also?

Yes, there is. It's not as prominent, just some at the top of the lettering.

Movement of the dies. Usually the edges of the bust will not have the push marks on them if they were a doubled die. Just machine doubled one will.
