I have no idea lol, I just think the position of it is creepy. Looks like almost the place he really got shot and it looks like they shot up the memorial lol. Plus there's some extra detail that shouldn't be there if you look closer

Lincoln wasn't shot in the jaw. This cent suffers from post-mint damage, and anything you try to read into it is just Pareidolia.

I know he wasn't shot in the jaw, I wasn't trying to be literal like I had a valuable coin it anything. I just thought it was cool but I don't think I like this chat at all anymore, people are rude and condescending. I don't claim to know everything, and I know very well you guys don't know everything either. Thanks for a waste of time

For sure there are some odd aspects to the damage on this coin. Keep it if you want as the cost of ownership is low.

Appears to be a mix of post-strike damage. The coin didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition.

It's not a "cool":coin, it is simply a damaged coin, post mint. We have seen thousands of damaged coins such as yours over the years, everything from coins with holes in them to bent coins. Almost all of them were. Intentionally damaged, or found coins with every sort of defects. Very very few of them are even worth keeping. We are numismatics here, looking for varieties or true errors among coins we obtain. So, sorry we didn't do back flips upon seeing your post mint damaged coin. Keep searching!

Well said Merclover. That is, if your intention is to discourage and run off newcomers. And the word I think you meant to use is numisticists.

OP said: Quote: Let me know what you guys think! We told OP what we thought, but evidently it wasn't what they were hoping to hear.

when one is a beginner, pretending to know what is impressive is not a good way to ingratiate oneself with a more knowledgeable group, in coins or in any subject
