Nice way to start out into the gold coin series !
Strike sharper than the standard $1 gold coins, - probably due to the fact that it is a commemorative, with much smaller mintage.

Couldn't resist grading it.
MS-65, could even be slabbed a bit higher.

It seems that this coin has been reasonably well protected ever since it left the Mint.

I ran the cert number so I know it's graded 64 at present. Looks gem to me though as well.
