In my experience neither acetone, nor Verdi-Care, nor any other chemical short of a dip will remove fingerprints from coins, and a dip will just ruin it.
You can try the acetone anyway, but I wouldn't hold out high hopes on it being any use.

I'd leave well enough alone if it were mine.

Yeah, it's still a very attractive coin even with the minor fingerprint marks.

I'll say EF-45, leave well enough alone.

I wonder if your "odd die chip on neck" could be a clash from the top of N. It lines up very well.

I'm surprised you say EF-45 Coinfrog. Somewhat incomplete Liberty - thought that was an important marker for higher grade.

Strike weakness can make LIBERTY of less value as a diagnostic indicator for grading. I would be at EF40 net. The ribbon with diamonds still shows some separation from the hair curls.

Much better than a VF-20. In fact, I'm at XF-40 on this coin. I'm not sure how to go about removing the fingerprint.

I'm with coinfrog on this one. i'd say the obv is between 40 and 45 and the overall coin is sharper than a 40. especially the reverse which imo would push it over the line to XF45. fingerprint and there isn't anything you can about that
