Hi everyone

Would this coin be graded higher than MS63 so actually worth something? Also I know there's the smear mark on the "we" which is most significant and that is an error but is this just called double die obverse? Also, I don't understand or see the difference between regular and full band. Could someone point out all the correct errors on this coin for me? Much appreciated!

Looks like a normal dime to me, maybe better condition than usually seen but not very high grade. I don't see any errors, where do you see the doubling?

@bic, those are some good questions. The smearing on IGWT, might be light circulation damage or a little grease in the die prevented those letters from being fully struck. There are plenty of other stray circulation marks on this coin. On the reverse, the horizontal bands holding the fasces together don't show complete separation.

Looks to be a common, circulated '67 dime. Falls short of the MS grade range and does not appear to have doubled die characteristics, given the posted pics.

Sorry guys, this is all very new to me. I've spent a great deal reading but tbh If you were to ask me to describe it draw out DDO I couldn't . not precise anyways

Is this one that I also have a DDO? The words LIBERTY are clearly much thicker but that smear, is that called a weak strike? The "in" and "we"

None of the US coins minted in '65, '66 and '67 have mint marks. This was part of an effort to solve a huge coin shortage in the mid sixties. They started using mint marks again in 1968.

that smear you see is most likely Grease Filled Die near the rim., but no, I doubt it would grade as a MS63, probably not even an AU coin in my opinion.
