2021 D Mint Question About Wavy Lines

I found two of these coins. Both 2021 D mint with some wavy lines on it. Not sure if this is an error worth anything or what. I am fairly new to this hobby so still learning.

@aly, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes this looks like a fingerprint to me too. Unfortunately these typically cannot be fully removed from the surface of a coin. For me, this coin would be a spender.

a strong fingerprint on this coin - a perfect example why we never hold the coin by the edges only or with white cotton gloves.

Almost all odd looking coins are post mint damage of some sort. There are a limited number of things that can go wrong in the minting process and coins spend very little time at the mint. However, coins can spend sometimes a century or more in circulation and therefore encounter an almost infinite number of ways to be damaged, exposed to chemicals etc.
