This damaged cent was just odd enough to grab my attention. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow. One of the things that prompted me to post the images was because this shows what blisters can look like under the copper plating. (There are some examples of the bumps still covered by copper SE of the chin.) Most of the time, I think of blisters simply as missing zinc. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
