I'd ask this one, "So, how many gunfights have you seen?"

I would ask my Roman coins if they ever belonged to one of the emperors. And the several Reich Marks I have, well, I would want to know if they were ever in Adolf's hands.

I would ask my ZAR coins (South African Republic (Dutch: Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek) if Paul Kruger or Marthinus Pretorius (son of Andries Pretorius) ever had them in his pocket.

Also would ask the coins if they know where the hidden Kruger Millions are.

Ken

P.S. I like this quote by Paul Kruger about Cecil Rhodes...."Only four people that I fear: God, the Devil, de la Rey for his enourmous strength and his quick tongue and - daardie verdomde Engelsman (that damned Englishman) Rhodes!"

FYI: Koos de la Rey was a Boer general during the Second Boer War.

One Large Cent talking to another ...

Does this wreath make my reverse look fat?

I would ask a 2009 Lincoln Cent when do you plan to retire?
and
Every Jefferson Full Step Nickel would tell me how important a first impression is when you meet a collector.

My 1810 capped bust half dollar was made when the country was only 34 years old. I would ask it what pockets, what purses, what cash registers it has been in. What a history it could tell. Maybe a few poker games or slot machines? Did any president ever hold you? The questions are endless.

Where did you ever learn to jump and then run to the nearest most inaccessible spot? Is it just instinct? And for Pete's sake, why always under the dang refrigerator?!?

I would seriously be afraid to ask a coin anything. Imagine asking something like so what have you seen or been involved with? And the coin blurts out "I hate those people that pick their noses and then handle me. I hate all those people that come out of a stall in the washroom, don't wash their hands and then handles me. And that guy that threw up from to much to drink. Guess what he did with me?"
And now your holding me in your hands.
