Thank you, Mike. I got this one for $65. I have many extra silver coins aside from my three collections. Maybe I should consider selling some but it seems like a hassle.

Thanks for the advice, Mike and jbuck. I probably won't sell now or later. It's just too much trouble to go through. But, I do have many silver coins that I don't need.

Quote: Well, sell those then. Funding for the ones you do need. My first step would be to go through many boxes and sort out the extra coins. I'm not interested in going to all the trouble of listing them individually on ebay and then packaging and shipping them if they sell. I may consider selling them gradually in groups to an online vendor like APMEX. My third choice would be to just forget the whole thing and keep them.

I'm not sure how old you are, but I think in the next 10-20 years, the melt value of silver will be high enough for you to sell off 90% of your extra coins, even the Proofs, as if they are bullion. I'm sure you have a couple key date coins that would make more sense to sell via a venue like ebay

Well, I'm too old to look ahead 10 to 20 years. I did a rough count and I have about 450 extra silver coins including 72 ASE BU, 51 ASE certified and 27 ASE proofs. It will be a major project just going through all my boxes of coins and sorting out the extras.
