The certified versions don't even reference the anniversary on the label. Well, Mike, I've seen the NGC PF-70 Ultra Cameo Silver Eagle with dual date and 250th Anniversary Liberty Bell privy mark.
They're selling for $395 so I won't be getting one.

Simpler times, ( who would of thought ) Paying $91.00 for an ASE was Highway robbery back then ( Jan-2026 ).... We were not as focused Then, As We are Now.....  That's the first I heard of it, Gary, Does that ASE have a mint mark, or Bullion ? |

The U S Mint's are going to Squeeze collectors as Much as they Usually have, Especially with the Anniversary Ahead,..... How is an ASE, 1 oz coin justify a $395.00 price point !!! Insanity....  |

Mike, the $395 ASE has a W mint mark. They (LCR Coin) are also selling the 2026 W Silver Eagle CAC PR-70 DCAM dual date 250th anniversary liberty bell privy for $795. Who knows how they came up with their prices. |

Well Then, That One's for Me, ( too).....  Any West Point minted Proof and or Uncirculated versions Are offered on Subscriptions, for $ 173.00 Why Would some one pay that higher price, If they miss on the Release date or not able to get the subscription, Maybe for a die hard collector they Might pay, How else would collectors obtain it  Edited by Morgans Dad

Mike, the two examples I posted are certified proofs. The $395 proof was graded by NGC as a PF-70 Ultra Cameo. The $795 proof was graded by CAC as a PR-70 DCAM. Both coins were priced by the dealer, LCR Coin. Supposedly CAC grades at a higher standard so dealers sell their coins at higher prices. But, I really can't see a justification for the $400 difference in the two examples I posted. One ebay seller is offering the "2026 W 250th Anniversary Proof Silver Eagle NGC PF 70 UC Liberty Bell privy Presale" for $385. There are 9 available and 43 sold. If the seller is telling the truth then someone is buying at the higher prices. |
