I don't think there's any way of knowing that, Gilly. The 2021 silver eagles were produced at all three mints. The only way of knowing which mint would be the identification label on the monster box.

Hello, Mike. I always thought the labels were like this:
If a coin has a mint mark the label would have it right after the date with a dash, 2021-S.
If a coin does not have a mint mark but the documents indicate a mint the label would show 2021(S).
When a label has S$1 that means silver dollar. The S$1 is usually on the opposite side of the label from the date.

I would have thought you guys were all good with knowing about the implied mint marks, that's with the parenthesis around the mint. Not on the ASE, but by the grader who verified, yes via the box strap, usually. This is sort of a niche market in the bullion collection field.

So I guess this isn't where I'm getting the answer. But to elaborate a bit.

I noted this: the 2021 type 1 was minted at all 3 possible mints,P, S, and primarily W. The 2021 type 2 were only made in W and S.

So I was wondering if any of the graders made a type 1 and 2 sets with the implied S meaning (S) mint mark. San Francisco made a million of each.

I had to compromise, Mike. I collect MS-70 coins because they are considered to be "perfect" coins. Since they're only available in slab form then that's what I buy.

I try to be in touch with various facets of the ASE collecting hobby specifically. I don't collect a lot of other numismatics.
I've got an the individual issues and sets, there's nothing left but keeping current with new releases.. So I have been interested, not so much as slabs or labels or particular grades (needing to get all 70s or matching labels). So I'm not really looking at the proofs, those I'm happy with my OGP.
But one interesting thing are the bullion issues that are a little more in the scarce side coming from a particular mint.
The 2020 from Philadelphia for example was 240,000, the 2015 from Philadelphia was 79,500. So they get down there a bit for certain years, so I'm picking up a few slabbed ones. Making an exception.
