There were no S minted coins produced from 1956 through 1967, you have a Philadelphia minted business strike Lincoln Cent. .

The only valuable "No S" coins to my knowledge are proofs. San Francisco didn't start minting proof coins until 1968. Philadelphia minted all proof coins prior to that, and they never had a mint mark (edit - the exception is late 1942 35% silver nickel proofs, which had a P). So even if yours was a proof, which I don't think it is, it would just be a normal Philadelphia proof.

Thanks! I'm Looking at the stats on the 1964 SMS San Fransisco Trial Run for the Philadelphia proof upcoming set,but had a glossy Lincoln and a satin planchet. It woululd have no mint like Philly but actually was produced in San Fransisco. Not many out there. Yes it would have been a proo SMS wasn't discovered till the 1990's . Hoping someone is familiar?

OK, so you're talking about the 1964 SMS coins? Those aren't the "No S" coins, and from what I've read it's only speculation that they may have been struck in San Francisco. All the existing examples came from the estate of the former mint director, so I'd say the chance that you found one out in the wild is pretty close to zero.

I had no Idea ! That's a pretty rock solid vault you'd have to open up . Wow! Had no idea about the speculation surrounding the SMS,or the estate possession. I still look at all of them because some are really gorgeous and who can go wrong with collecting your birth year. Thanks for info!

These coins are just normal business Philadelphia struck cent coins.

The cent has been pretty harshly cleaned.
