Title (1982) doesn't match the date on the cent (1981).

1981 has two types but I don't think 1982 does http://www.smalldollars.com/dollar/page29.html
If that last photo is a photo of your scopes screen, please do not post photos of the screen, use a memory card.

So I am assuming from the topics and conversations that this is a 1981 Type 2 Proof set?

That looks like a type 1 mint mark - have a look at the differences:
the shape of the 8 and the MM itself:
Type 1 MM
1981-S-Proof-Set.--Type-1-Or-2?
Type 2 MM
1981-S-Proof-Set.--Type-1-Or-2?

So is it a type 1 SET? don't know, but the cent is a type 1
Can you post up the MM of the other coins in this set?
You see every denomination of 1979 and 1981 both had type 1 and type 2 mint marks.
Is it possible that the entire set is one type over the other? THAT is a question I never wondered or asked about.

So now, since you brought in up, will you please post up the MM of the nickel, dime, quarter, half, and the SBA Dollar?
