Came across about a dozen of these and everybody has been so helpful to me in trying to figure out if these coins I find have any value or not, thought I would see what thoughts you have on these.

As always, thanks in advance for your help!

Here are a couple tools to put in your numismatic tool belt so you can determine value on your own.
Grading:https://www.PCGS.com/photograde/
Values,also check ebay sold values:http://m.numismedia.com/rarecoinprices.htm

your photos are a little out of focus making it difficult to determine is there is any wear on the highest devices so I'm not going to be able to narrow it down to a specific grade.

the coin looks MS or high AU. the 2001D is a common coin with a mintage of almost 20,000,000. I order to have any real value the coin would need to be MS65 and even then you're talking about $10 retail. getting any previously circulated coin to MS65 is not going to happen.

i would say AU58 - value .50
MS63/64 at best - value $1.50-2.50
my guess is that its AU58

john posted the PCGS values site. if you use this site keep in mind that PCGS values the coins based on that they are already slabbed so the value will be higher than say http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml which I use for unslabbed coins. one of the best ways to determine value is look at ebay sold listing as well. I would would ebay sold and numismedia to get a good idea of what a raw coin would sell at.

Thanks for the replies and I'll start checking ebay and the other information provided unless I find something really rare to share.

Hi jcc1.
You have a 2021-D Kennedy half dollar which is commonly referred to as a NIFC--Not Intended for Circulation. The only way these were issued by the Mint were as direct sales either in rolls or bags, but not as circulation business strike coins.
There were 7.7 million of these half dollars produced at the Denver Mint. So, they are a bit scarcer than business strike half dollars. Coincidentally, I recently found 180 2021 Kennedy halves at an Atlanta bank---someone had put them in new rolls along with 420 other much earlier dated Kennedys. Mine are all uncirculated and BU in condition, which is amazing.
As the other folks have indicated, the value of the coin could be higher than 50 cents, but it all depends on condition. The photos of your coin are a bit blurry and out of focus--but I would say that it is likely in the AU 58 to MS 61 grade range.
