i have a few questions about this 2005 -D cent only on the obverse is the date doubled and on the reverse is there doubling in between the last 2 pillars how about right under the steps and the it has to be Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration right its the date and the bubbles under the steps that has me puzzled

I do not see your coin as a doubled die in any way.

Greetings, there is no listing for a DDO or a DDR for this year and mint on VV.

The plating issues on these copper plated pennies draw a lot of false hope of Doubled Die discoveries. The plating can torn or be stretched in ways around the devices as to look like doubling.
Incuse Doubling is one type of anomaly on plated pennies.

@John1 This is a type of Die Deterioration / Deformation errors:
Die Deterioration Doubling:
Incuse doubling.
sometimes produces discernible doubling of affected design elements as a DDD.
Incuse DDD is most often seen on copper-plated zinc cents, but does occasionally appear in other issues.
