It is the "doubled master die", more than half of the 72's are doubled master dies, all three mints, so no premium for them. Scroll to the very end of the link and check out the last listing. LINK http://doubleddie.com/384301.html

I'll mark it up tomorrow evening for you, Dearborn, but my go to, especially on a circulated coin, is the sloped top of the B and R in LIBERTY, it is not, on a non master doubled die.

Clwang, I'm not sure what your additional pics are for. First, I am assuming that you are referring to Wexler's WDDO-005, because cc's and VV's 005 listings are proof coins and yours is a business strike. WDDO-005 does look similar, in certain ways to the master doubling though and could see how you might mistake it. Your coin is a well circulated example and has much of the master doubling hiding, but it's there.
Check out the side by sides that I will have in the next post, this will help you recognize, even a well circulated coin, as a doubled master die.

Here you go, Dearborn, I was able to do the side by sides before leaving this morning. You should be able to see what I'm referring to with the slanted look of the B and R, this is an easy indicator to the doubled master die, even on well circulated coins. It does not state this in the listing, but I was also taught that much of what you see on a doubled master die is actually re-engraving, not doubling, which I agree with.

makecents - interesting observation. I currently don't see an example of liberty showing under Wexler's WDDO-005. Maybe I missed it.
I do see the slope on B and R on WMDO-001, as well as WDDO-009, WDDO-014, WDDO-018. Note many listings start to finish do not include liberty as markers. Thanks, Doug.

Halo, it's the last pic in the listing. LINK http://doubleddie.com/823839.html You will find that the only 72 doubled dies that have the sloped letters are the doubled 2's, which are also thought by some to be re-engraved dies and not a doubled die.
