Hope the members will appreciate your wiliness.. PS: One time I wanted to do a book with all those foreign coins strike by the US mint. Photos, overlapping equivalents of US coins. But in that time I was 6 to 10 hours in the OR, so I was at the end of the day without energy. I hope someone will do 'it. Me I do not have time in my time frame. Silvio

Silviosi, of course it happened after the strike, what I was getting at, and perhaps not wording it well, was that a foreign planchet would not have anything to do with any odd markings. A planchet, normal or foreign, would be blank and have no markings to begin with, so anything that shows up had to have been done after.

Quote: Seems to have made it in one piece, thank you. I don't have time to look at it right now but I uploaded it here. Will appreciate feedback... A nice list that is less "cluttered" and a little easier to read than the one I currently use. The one I use also has columns listing which US denomination might be struck on a listed foreign coin/planchet. EDIT: Here's a screen shot of the first page of the one I use. The latest date I find on this list is 1980 as well. Unfortunately, I saved this a long time ago and I can't remember where it came from.

@ Halo 1-st
I know Ken made a great work on. I have 'it the privileges' to be with him sometimes on his studies. Me I wan to give to Bobby and the community the original so no more discrepancy to happened and I know the community need the right information.
I will look forward to send him more interesting materials, because I believe this community has a big potential to teach and analyze what this hobby mean.
I do not want that all my studies, tests and etc. to be lost. My term go to the end, so just live on my personal data will not help.
I have all the reports of the mint from 1876 and majority of the Mint Directors under oath to the congress commission. I will send to Bobby if him agrees the most relevant as the turning years of 1964, 1909, 1942, 1998 and other till 2021.

Like your self the majority I pass on is second hand. I'm one of the few that follows up behind the scene. I can currently count on one hand those I take seriously. You're currently on the list. To put a congressional seal, stamp on the Mint Directors under oath to the congress commission seems to be provided by second hand to the director himself. Stop and think. Review or compare the other written facts. Thanks, Doug.

Halo Yes I compare and I find out that only under the oath the Mint recognize that in 1962 in the middle of the year they change the cents alloy. They pass from Cu-Zn-Tin to CU-Zn in July 1962. Who know about? who certify the transition? No One.
This I am, I want facts not suppositions or imaginations.
