So I have tried buying three different brands now for larger coins as well as smaller coins and only one of them have worked for Morgans and Peaces but none of the smaller ones have fit quarters. Also the halves do not fit properly as well. I end up having to rip a small piece of the cushion and add it into the case. Then it is a gamble to not scuff the rear side trying to push it against the cushion on one side while on a angle with the small added cushion so that it fits snug. Has anyone found a good brand that fits U.S coins properly? I tried a search on this topic. Photo of a coin attached to show what I mean

What brands have you tried, so we don't waste space suggesting them?

The one I can find the name of is Frimoony. The silver dollar holders I got are mThe others she ordered for me a few years ago and there is no name on them. They all advertise that it fits U.S coins but only dimes and nickels fit properly without rattling. Its frustrating when you keep you spend money to keep your coins properly protected.

Silver dollar holders I use are Mudor and they do not fit quarters either. Haven't tried halves in them yet

If you have a re usable coin capsule that is only very slightly larger than the coin, thin polystyrene strips, about 2mm wide can be included with the coin inside the capsule, to prevent the coin being a 'rattler' As illustrated. I have used an ex British Royal Mint screw sealed capsule for a proof silver crown (39mm) in this way, for a 1937 George V1 Five Pounds (37mm). The 1937 coin was issued in a cased set, but never an individual coin in a capsule

Genuine Air-Tite brand holders are available for each US denomination - they fit the coins w/o issue.

Ok thank you, yeah I have been adding a small strip but when it comes to the very pricey coins its a hassle to shove them in there because they then have back pressure so if they dont go in all the way they will pop back out. Almost dropped a couple the other day doing this and I knew I needed to figure something else out before almost becomes reality.

Handle pristine coins to be encapsulated over a clean towel or blanket, lest you accidently drop them. .,
