Recent CRH find. A bit hard to see through all the circulation flattening, but a very strong class II doubled die. I personally find it easiest to see on the lip of the G in GOD, and the distension on the lower serifs of most of the letters in the motto. The star between the motto and the date also shows a strong distortion on the upper left point. Here's a link to the VV entry.
Thanks Errers! Yeah, luckily they stand out more when you're comparing them against equally circulated coins of the same date, so much easier to spot while going through several 1939s than it would have been on its own, I think.
