I purchased this coin in a NGC holder. It was a MS66 there as well. I got it for around $100 with the variety not attributed on the NGC holder but the seller knew what he had. If you aren't familiar with PCGS, their coins hold the highest value for the grade. Also, many NGC 66 coins are not PCGS 66 coins. They generally grade a 65 or even 64.
I broke this coin out of its NGC holder and submitted it to PCGS a few weeks ago. I just got this and several others back. It did cross as a 66 at PCGS as well. It is now the main plate coin for the die! Thanks for looking.

Wow that is pretty cool @will! At first glance it just looks like a die chip in the mintmark, but under closer examination, the remnant inverted letter D is still visible to the northeast. This is just awesome.

Not being familiar with these, does this mean the inverted D is like this?

Thanks guys! I got lucky with this and a few others I'll post on a later date. And plum crazy you are exactly right. Some Washington mint mark varieties aren't as straight forward as this one.

I find it interesting that the Inverted D is that far off-center.
