This is a 1954 Lincoln Wheat penny with what looks like a piece of extra wheat sticking out from the right and left side of the wheat stalks. I would love to know what caused this error and what it is called. Thank you!

These are die cracks most likely pre Cuds but pitchers are not good enough to see try Cuds on coins for pre Cuds

Those are Die Cracks. Looks like they're on its way to forming a Pre Cud.
