1959 D Lincoln Cent/ Die Crack? - Coin Community Forum

Kkoch New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 07/09/2023 1:59 pm I have two questions for this beautiful coin. First, I am considering getting this and two other cents graded with same year and date. All three are in great condition. Thoughts on that? Second,the coin in post seems to have a possible die crack? Running from left to right of #1 on date. Also, a very fine line above ear across temple. Both of these cracks/lines are raised from surface so I am sure they are not scratches. On one of the coins the line above ear is very faint and there is no line thru date. 3rd coin has neither marks. As to the linear mark from Abe to the first digit of the date, I am less sure that it is a crack. It wouldn't enhance the value of this coin though.
