I came across this coin that I believe is a 1913-S raised mound. However, the date is missing. But the Mound on the reverse looks clearly raised and the S mintmark is still visible. Would you feel comfortable IDing this since raised mounds are 1913 only? I'd prefer not to nic-a-date it if possible. Would fill a hole in my album!

I'd say 1913 S type 1 for sure.

Raised mound says it all. Type 1 is easily identified by that right there. No need to damage it with nic a date. Definitely a T1 S

Yes, the raised mound (type 1) will only be found on the early struck 1913 nickels, the design was changed later in the year to flat ground (type 2)

Agreed - don't need the date to ID this one. 1913-S T1

This is the ideal example for a lowball collector.
