Help: San Francisco Mint Marks On Mercury Dimes

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6464 Posts	Posted 07/10/2023 12:55 pm In looking at the S mint marks on Mercury dimes, particularly 1941-1945, I can see a lot of different shapes. Normally I use the Variety Vista reference for mint marks, but it seems incomplete for silver dimes. My Google-fu has failed to turn up another comprehensive reference for mint marks used on 20th century American coins. Anyone have a good resource? Report this Post to the Staff

That's the penny reference, but it made me realize that VV has a mint mark reference on each denomination book. Apparently it's not the same as the main reference that lists all years and denominations.
