Quote:Aces, for those of us unfamiliar with VAM categories, could you point out what the particular VAM for your coins refer to? Not really sure what you mean? EVERY Morgan should have a VAM associated with it. It's based on the pair of dies used for the coin. Kind of like with Overton or Sheldon die pairs. I can go back to VAM World and see what in the pair defined it as that particular pair, if that's what you mean? VAM 1F (Clashed Obverse n, Reverse M) Probably over dipped at one time. VAM 7 Dash under second 8

Aces, thank you! I'm familiar with VAMs, but didn't want to go to VAM World every time. My 1885 P.

1886 MS67+ w/CAC. I still can't figure out how to reduce photos despite trying the tutorial. As such, here's a hotlink to the True View. Steve https://www.PCGS.com/cert/50134122EDIT: SEE Zurie's post of my True View four posts down! Thank you Zurie! See my private message. If possible, I'm hoping you can call me on Wednesday, and hold my hand as you teach me on my iPad how to do it. Thanks. Steve

Sadly, I did not even know this thread had been started again. So I will just try to post going forward. 1885-O ( VAM 5) 1885-O (Tidy House #1, VAM 8) 1885-O (Tidy House #2, VNA) Both the Tidy House coins have their original holders, envelopes, and a brochure, but they would benefit from much better photographs to capture the toning, especially the electric blue reverse on the 2nd coin (TrueView would be nice if I get them to PCGS!)

Paralyse, I was unfamiliar with Tidy House Morgans before your post. Thank you!

@Winesteven, I hope you don't mind, but your 1886 is too spectacular not to post directly here. So I resized the TrueView photo for you. Another gorgeous coin!

1886 ( VAM 6A) bad photos, sorry. This is the "A" die state of VAM 6, double clashed 1886 ( VAM 6B) more bad photos. This is the "B" die state of the same VAM 6 above with multiple clashes. PCGS MS 65 (OGH)
