So recently, when I exchange my penny rolls at the bank, more than half contain shield cents! I am paying more attention to the LSC's than I use to. I recently found a 2014 LSC with a Die Crack which was the first time for me.

I found another one this week on a 2017 P at the same location (right side of the scroll next to the T of Cent) but with 3 attending small Die Chips and directional differences of the Die Crack on the scroll. There is something different about this planchet! On the upper right there are disturbances emanating out of the shield toward the right side of the script. On the left side small disturbance shows as splinters coming from the shield edge! A very interesting LSC, so look at the photos and let me know your thoughts. Regards all.

I think the upper shield are Feeder Finger Damage. Both sides of the ribbon are common areas for die cracks.
